Paonta Sahib / Nahan, Himachal Pradesh, May 22, 2025 – Former Union Minister and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur, along with BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal and former minister Sukh Ram Chaudhary, led a Tiranga Bike Rally at Paonta Sahib and Nahan as part of the nationwide celebrations honoring the success of Operation Sindoor—a counter-terror operation launched by Indian forces in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
Anurag Thakur hailed the operation as a symbol of India’s unwavering resolve under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, stating that “Sindoor is not just an ornament of beauty, but a mark of valor and victory.” He declared, “If Pakistan dares another terrorist strike, there will be no one left to carry coffins or mourn the dead.”
He underlined that Operation Sindoor is proof of India’s military strength and decisive political leadership, emphasizing that Modi’s doctrine is clear: “We won’t provoke, but we won’t spare those who do.”
Thakur strongly condemned Pakistan’s duplicity in sheltering and supporting terrorists, calling it a “failed state” where even state officials attend terrorists’ funerals. He said that the Indian Army’s response was calculated and ethical, ensuring minimal civilian impact while eliminating over 100 terrorists and their active supporters on Day 1 of the operation.
He said the Sindoor Yatra was a tribute to India’s women, armed forces, and the spirit of sacrifice. He praised the Army, Navy, and Air Force for their coordinated and powerful response and noted that the rally was a gesture of public gratitude for their bravery.
Thakur reiterated, “After 2014, India has changed. National pride is our topmost priority. We worship Bharat Mata, and under PM Modi’s leadership, we have always responded to attacks with unmatched resolve.”
