2 min read

Dharamshala, 15 May 2025 — In a powerful address during the Tiranga Yatra, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur reiterated that Operation Sindoor is not over, but only temporarily paused, urging opposition parties to refrain from raising unwarranted questions. He emphasized that today’s India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, has demonstrated the resolve to not just react but to act decisively and strategically.

Thakur outlined the five key objectives of Operation Sindoor:

  1. Neutralize previously untouched and heavily fortified terror camps.
  2. Eliminate terrorists with precision.
  3. Destroy the structural backbone of terrorism.
  4. Ensure no civilian casualties during the operation.
  5. Avoid targeting Pakistani military installations, as the war was against terrorism, not Pakistan’s army.

He stated that all five objectives were successfully achieved, showcasing India’s shift from a reactive stance to strategic aggression.

9 Terror Camps Destroyed, Including Targets in Pakistan’s Punjab
