Baddi Police and IEC Organises Bike Rally Against Drug Abuse

Baddi, August 16, 2026: Baddi Police, in collaboration with IEC University, organised a special bike rally under the Himachal Pradesh Anti-Chitta Mission and the Shikshit Himachal–Viksit Himachal initiative to mark the 80th Independence Day.

Superintendent of Police Baddi Vinod Dhiman flagged off the rally from the SP Office. Students of IEC University and other participants took part enthusiastically, spreading the message of “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life” and promoting a drug-free Himachal.

The rally passed through various areas of Baddi, where participants raised awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraged young people to stay away from drugs and adopt sports and other positive activities.

SP Vinod Dhiman said combating drug abuse requires the active participation of society, particularly the youth. He appreciated IEC University’s support and said such awareness initiatives would continue alongside strict action against drug trafficking.
