Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025: JUIT Hosts District-Level Finale for Shimla & Kinnaur

  The second round of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 for Shimla and Kinnaur districts concluded at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT). The event, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aimed to engage young minds in democratic discussions.

Out of 150 participants, ten were selected for the state-level round, based on their presentations on “One Nation, One Election.” The jury included academicians, journalists, and legal experts. The shortlisted candidates are Ananya Negi, Yogesh, Anirudh Thakur, Diksha Vashisht, Suraj Sharma, Himanshi Sahni, Swapnil Suryan, Surya Prakash, Avantika Pamta, and Ved Priya.

The initiative has fostered political awareness and youth participation in governance, marking a successful milestone in the program’s journey.
