Queen Mary University delegation discusses exchange proposals with Shoolini Univ

A delegation of Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), visited Shoolini University, marking a significant step toward global academic partnerships.
The discussions and interactions are expected to pave the way for future academic exchange programmes and joint research initiatives.
The visit focused on exploring collaborative opportunities in education and research, including student exchange programmes, faculty exchange initiatives, and dual degree offerings.
Queen Mary University of London, ranked #120 in the QS World Rankings, was represented by Dr. Anne Ropiquet, Senior Lecturer of Biosciences and Director of Postgraduate Taught Programmes, and Ms. Clare Burke, Head of Global Partnerships and Opportunities. Their engagements at Shoolini University facilitated key discussions on enhancing academic ties and creating more opportunities for students at both institutions.
Dr. Anne Ropiquet delivered an insightful lecture to Biotechnology students on “how bioinformatics and AI are rescuing sea turtles” and provided an in-depth understanding of the intersection of bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, and marine conservation. Additionally, special sessions were conducted for students interested in postgraduate programmes such as MSc Bioinformatics, MSc AI in Biosciences, MSc Biotechnology, MSc Molecular Cell Biology, MSc Biodiversity and Conservation, and MSc Plant and Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity, and Conservation.
Meanwhile, Ms. Clare Burke engaged in discussions with the Dean, Master of Business Administration (MBA), faculty members, the Shoolini admissions team, and Dr. Rozy Dhanta to explore avenues for strengthening collaboration in the Global MBA programme. The dialogue centered on enhancing academic partnerships and expanding international opportunities for students.
Shoolini University Chancellor Prof P K Khosla said, the visit reaffirmed Shoolini University’s commitment to international collaboration, providing students and faculty with global exposure through partnerships with renowned institutions like Queen Mary University of London.
Dr. Rozy Dhanta, Deputy Director, Office of International Affairs, Shoolini University, said efforts are being made to collaborate with Queen Mary University for partnerships that provide knowledge exchange, academic growth, and groundbreaking research opportunities for both institutions.
