Pratibha Singh Criticizes BJP, Calls Their Protests a Disrespect to People’s Mandate
1 min readShimla, December 10: Himachal Pradesh Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh criticized BJP leaders for disrespecting the public mandate by protesting against the Congress government. She stated that the people of Himachal Pradesh have elected the Congress government with a clear majority, and BJP’s opposition is an insult to their decision.
Singh highlighted that the Congress government has fulfilled its five guarantees within two years and is working on completing the remaining promises in a phased manner. She praised Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri for their leadership, claiming the government is performing effectively.
She announced that the rally scheduled in Bilaspur tomorrow will be historic, showcasing the Congress government’s achievements over two years and outlining future plans. Singh accused BJP of misleading people with baseless statements and stated that their “anger rallies” have failed due to a lack of public support.
Singh urged BJP not to obstruct the state’s development for political gains and emphasized that despite limited resources and minimal support from the central government, the Congress government is driving Himachal’s progress. She expressed confidence that the government will complete its tenure successfully while fulfilling all promises.
