“Celebrating Excellence: St. Thomas’ School Annual Appreciation Day Shines with Talent and Tradition”
1 min readSt. Thomas’ School, Shimla, celebrated its Senior Wing Annual Appreciation Day for Classes IX to XII on November 13, 2024. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and distinguished guests.
The program featured a rich cultural lineup, including a Sufi-Ballet fusion prayer dance, a Teacher’s Choir, Assamese Bihu Dance, a Hindi comedy play “Yamraj ki Adalat,” Himachali Natti, Yakshagana dance, and the School Anthem.
Principal Vidhupriya Chakravarty presented the school report, outlining significant achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. Awards were presented for General Proficiency, Good Conduct, and Full Attendance across various classes, with notable winners including Priya Jha (Class 8), Divyanshi Himta (Class 9), Tushar Sharma (Class 10), and Gautam Gharu (Class 11 Commerce).
The Student of the Year award went to Raghav Nahar, while Toshqui House won the Best House Trophy. The UDAAN Scholarship recipients and subject-wise toppers from Class XII were also recognized for their excellence.
Chief Guest Dr. Kamayani Bisht lauded the students’ performances and emphasized the importance of holistic development. Principal Ms. Chakravarty encouraged all students to continue striving for success. The event concluded with appreciation for media partners for their continued support.
