Natural Farming Maize Procurement to Begin from October 25

Deputy Commissioner of Solan, Manmohan Sharma, will inaugurate the procurement of maize produced through natural farming on October 25, 2024, in Dharampur under the Rajiv Gandhi Natural Farming Start-Up Scheme. According to Project Director of Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Solan, Yograj Chauhan, the maize will be purchased at ₹3,000 per quintal with a maximum limit of 20 quintals per farmer. The procurement will be carried out at storage centers in Arki, Dharampur, Nalagarh, and Solan, starting at 10 AM.
