Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan Appointed as Acting Chief Justice of HP High Court

The President of India has appointed Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, currently serving as a Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, to assume the duties of the Chief Justice of the High Court. This appointment, under Article 223 of the Constitution of India, will be effective from October 19, 2024, following the retirement of Chief Justice Rajiv Shakdher on October 18, 2024.
