Mahasu Art organises exhibition of paintings by women

Solan, October 3
Mahasu Art, a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) working for bridging humanity through art, organised an all women painting exhibition, called ‘Indreni III’ at the Gaiety Theatre, Shimla, from September 26 to October 2.
Ms Avnee Khosla, Vice President of Shoolini University, was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.
Professor Him Chaterjee, Chairman of Department Visual Arts, H.P.U, Dr Anurita Saxena, Principal, R.K.M.V, Shimla, and Dr Bhander Singh Assistant Professor of Painting, RKMV, were the guests of honour.
The exhibition attracted several visitors to the venue. Some of the artists also displayed live artistic performances. The theme of the exhibition was “Amplifying the Voice of Women”.
