Two Girls from Chamba District Win Gold Medals in State-Level Wrestling Competition

In a state-level wrestling competition held in Sundarnagar, Mandi district, two girls from Chamba district secured gold medals. The team manager, Dheeraj Thakur, informed that Mahima Kumari from the Government Senior Secondary School Chamba won the gold medal in the 33-kilogram category, while Ananya Thakur from the Government Senior Secondary School Bhandal secured the gold medal in the 58-kilogram category. Both these students have been selected for the national-level competition. Ananya and Mahima will represent Himachal Pradesh in the upcoming national wrestling competition.
Dheeraj Thakur also mentioned that in the state-level competition, Kajal from Government Senior Secondary School Jadra won gold in the 46-kilogram category, Rashi Sharma from Kanya Vidyalaya Chamba secured gold in the 54-kilogram category, and Shalini Thakur from Bagheigad earned a bronze medal. Deputy Director of Higher Education, Pyar Singh Chadak, and Deputy Director of Elementary Education, Suman Kumari Minhas, congratulated the students on their achievements.
