All Schools to remain close of Aug 14

Shimla, Aug 13 – Closing of the schools keeping in view the weather conditions and connectivity. Whereas, continuous spell of heavy rainfall is occurring for last two days in the region hampering the connectivity thereof. Moreover, there is apprehension of this trend continuing for 2 to 3 days. Whereas, also as per the latest report of Metrological Centre, Shimla regarding rain forecast, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected for the next 2 to 3 days in the region.
Hence, after due consideration of the weather report and assessment of • general conditions prevailing under the circumstances. in the Sub Division Shimla (Urban) necessitating further preventive measures. • Therefore, in order to ensure safety and security of the students and school employees, it is hereby ordered that Al government Primary/ Middle/ Higher/ Senior Secondary Schools affiliated to Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) as well as all private schools affiliated to CBSE/ICSE or any other Education Board in the Sub Division Shimla (Urban) shall remain closed on 14th August, 2023.
