Solan, August 4: The administration is increasingly troubled by frequent landslides on the Shimla-Kalka Highway. Landslides near Chakki Mod are causing repeated disruptions. On the third day without any relief, local villagers have started crossing the affected area on foot amid debris.

People are cautiously crossing the landslide site, as evident from videos that have emerged. They are risking their lives by stepping on the edge of danger, fully aware of the potential deadly consequences.

In fact, the situation has become so dire due to repeated landslides that even pedestrians cannot cross the damaged highway. However, there is hope that a safe passage for pedestrians will be constructed soon. Thankfully, no accidents have occurred during this time of crisis.
