While congratulating Himachal Pradesh Badminton team (Boys) on winning Gold medal in 66th National School Games organised by Student Games Federation in India (SGFI) held at Gwalior Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that sports plays an important role in character building.
He appreciated hard work and dedication of the team, which defeated Karnataka by 2-0 to bag the gold medal. He said that state government is committed to provide education facilities along with co-curricular activities for all round growth of the students.
