HP govt keen to dev religious places: Mukesh Agnihotri

Una, Feb 4 – HP Deputy Chief Minister, Mukesh Agnihotri said Saturday the state government is committed to the development and improvement of all the temples of the state so that the best facilities can be made available to the devotees.

He said works have been started to provide state-of-the-art facilities to the devotees at Chinnamastika Dham Mata Shri Chintpurni Ji, a major religious place. For the convenience of the devotees coming to Chintpurni, the online facility of Havan, Prasad, Langar, Jagran, etc. is being provided so that they do not face any kind of difficulty after reaching the temple site.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri took the blessings of Sant Baba Bal ji Saturday at the well-known Sri Radha Krishna temple Kotla Kalan in Una district, in the presence of national saint Baba Balji, at Shrimad Bhagwat Gita discourse going on from February 1 to 13.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said he was grateful to Sant Baba Bal Ji for giving him the opportunity to attend this huge spiritual event. He said Saint Baba Bal is one of the great saints of North India and people also have deep faith in this holy place. Every year thousands of people reach here to listen to the discourse and take his blessings.
The Deputy Chief Minister said besides the Una district, thousands of people from neighbouring states are connected with Sant Baba Bal Ji. This ashram is the center of the deep faith of the devotees of North India and it is a matter of joy and pride for the Una district.
He said work is being done on various projects for the construction of digital screens, solar lights, cameras, ropeways, lifts, and escalators in this well-known temple of the state. Apart from this, the museum and Mata Ka Bagh will also be constructed in Chintpurni temple.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that an action plan would be prepared to provide bus facilities to the people in all the temples of the state so that the devotees coming from the state and outside would be able to visit easily. He said a smooth bus facility would be provided to Haridwar. Apart from this, bus service will also be started for Vrindavan and Khatushyam religious places.
