Trains resume running b/w Nurpur Road Baijnath & Paprola railway stations

Kangra, Nov 2 – Due to flash floods and damage to bridge number 32 in this monsoon season, the operation of trains on Pathankot – Joginder Nagar railway line was suspended for almost three months.
For the convenience of rail users, rail service between Nurpur Road and Baijnath Paprola railway stations of this track was restored on November 2. Two pairs of trains will be operated between Nurpur Road and Baijnath Paprola railway stations.
The Kangra Valley (Narrow Gauge) Railway in Firozpur Division of Northern Railway provides rail connectivity between Pathankot in Punjab to Joginder Nagar in Himachal Pradesh sources told UNI on Wednesday.

The Railway sources said the Train No. 04699 will depart Nurpur Road at 0600 hrs to reach Baijnath Paprola at 1200 hrs and another train number 04685 will depart Nurpur Road at 1430 hrs to reach Baijnath Paprola at 2020 hrs.
He said Train No. 04700 will depart Baijnath Paprola at 0600 hrs to reach Nurpur Road at 1200 hrs and another train No. 04686 will depart Baijnath Paprola at 1500 hrs and will reach Nurpur Road at 2125 hrs.
Enroute these trains are Talada, Balle Da Pir Larth Halt, Bharmar, Jawanwala City, Harsar Dehri, Meghrajpura Halt, Nagrota Suriyan, Barial Himachal Halt, Nandpur Bhatauli, Guler, Lunsu Halt, Tripal Halt, Jwalamukhi Road, Kopar Lehar, Kangra, Kangra Mandir, Samploti, Nagrota, Chamunda Marg Halt, Paror Halt, Sulah Himachal Halt, Palampur Himachal Halt, Patti Rajpura Halt, Panch Rukhi and Majehra Himachal Halt stations will stop in both the directions.
