Written exam of Agniveer recruitment to be held on Oct 16

Hamirpur, Oct 7 – The written examination for the recruitment of Agniveers will be held at the ground local Degree College on October 16th and for that, all eligible candidates get admit cards from Army Recruitment Office Hamirpur by October 9th.

Colonel Sanjeev Tyagi, Director, Army Recruiting Office, Hamirpur, said that under the Agneepath scheme, Agni veer Recruitment Rally was organized at Sujanpur Tihra from 29 August to 8 September for the candidates of Hamirpur, Bilaspur, and Una districts.
He said that the examination will be conducted with complete transparency under the surveillance of CCTV cameras, and not fall under the guise of touts.

He urged all the candidates who were appearing in the written examination not to fall into the trap of touts to pass the examination. He said that some brokers collect money from several candidates on the promise that they will get them cleared of the test and if any candidate does not pass the test then his money will be refunded. After the rally, the brokers keep the money of the successful candidates and return the money of the unsuccessful candidates.

Col. Tyagi said that some touts used to keep the original documents of the candidates and then ask for money, so he has urged all the candidates not to fall into the guise of any broker and believe in their hard work and share the hard-earned money of their parents with the brokers.
