Maduwala’s 16-year-old student, Love Gehlot, has achieved a remarkable feat by being selected for the prestigious Governor’s Best Scout Award. This recognition is a testament to Love’s dedication and commitment to scouting, and he will receive the award from His Excellency the Governor of Haryana on October 5th at Raj Bhawan, Haryana.

Love Gehlot, a former student of Government Middle School Rattakheda and a resident of Maduwala village, discovered his passion for scouting during his eighth-grade studies at Government Middle School, Rattakheda. This interest was ignited when District Training Officer Scout and Guide Balwan Singh Chauhan introduced scouting to the students. Love’s enthusiasm for social service, influenced by his father, Suresh Kumar, a dedicated social worker and former Sarpanch, led him to express his desire to join the scouting movement. Recognizing Love’s potential, District Training Officer Balwan Singh Chauhan warmly welcomed him into the world of scouting, marking the beginning of his remarkable scouting journey.

During his scouting journey, Love had the opportunity to participate in various training camps organized by The Bharat Scouts and Guides. These experiences equipped him with valuable skills in first aid, disaster management, camping, personality development, and leadership. His unwavering dedication and outstanding performance led to his selection as the Best Scout by the Haryana State Bharat Scouts and Guides.

On October 5th, His Excellency the Governor of Haryana will confer the Governor’s Best Scout Award upon Love Gehlot in a special ceremony at Haryana Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh. Love attributes his remarkable achievement to his relentless hard work and the invaluable guidance he received from his father, Suresh Kumar, as well as the support and mentorship of Guru DTC Balwan Singh Chauhan, DOC Ramchandra, and Advocate Tanuj Goyal. This accomplishment stands as an inspiration for young scouts and the community at large.
