Working Group Committee constituted to set up Green & Adtmnirbhar Goshala in State

Shimla, Dec. 24 –  A Spokesperson of State Government said here today that a Working Group Committee has been constituted to set up the Green and Adtmnirbhar Goshalas in the State. He said that these Goshalas will be equipped with Biogas Energy and Solar Energy Generation. He said that where-ever possible Ground/Roof Mounted Solar Power will  be connected to the grid for revenue generation for these Goshalas.

Spokesperson said that this committee would consist of Director, Energy, as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Himurja, Director, Rural Development or his representative, Director, Animal husbandary, Dr. Rajiv Walia, Deparment of Animal Husbandry as members and Senior Project Officer, HIMURJA Vineet Sood as Member Secretary.

He further said that working group will submit a draft scheme to set up Green and Aatmnirbhar Goshalas in State. He said that  10 Goshalas should be analysed in detail for the first phase, bringing out all the relevant financial and technical parameters, so as to stary the implementation of the scheme in all these 10 Goshalas at the earliest.
