Woman arrested with Heroin in Kangra district

Dharamshala, Dec – A woman, resident of Harnota Patta, of Kangra district was arrested on Thursday under Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances NDPS Act near Post Office Harnota, Tehsil Jwali, District Kangra district after 7.6 grams of heroin was seized from her possession, Police said here on Thursday.

Kangra District Senior Superintendent of Police Khushal Chand Sharma told that under Police Station Jawali police recovered 7.6 grams of Heroin from Anjana Devi, a resident of Harnota Patta, Tehsil Jwali, District Kangra, at Harnota near post office late last evening.
SSP Said that police arrested her under section 21-61-85 of NDPS Act at Jwali police station and the investigation was in progress.
