Vikramaditya Singh Emphasizes Pride in Hindi at State-Level Hindi Day Celebration

Shimla, September 14, 2024 – During the state-level Hindi Day celebration held at the historic Gaiety Theatre, Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh underscored the pride in the Hindi language. He highlighted the global recognition of Hindi and its role in enhancing India’s stature on the world stage. Singh called for increased use of Hindi over English and praised Prime Minister Modi’s use of Hindi in international forums. He acknowledged the contributions of past leaders in shaping Himachal Pradesh’s identity and stressed the importance of preserving cultural heritage alongside development. The event also featured the launch of Chiranand Shastri’s book and recognized winners of various Hindi language competitions.
