1 min read

Shimla, July 3: Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh has accused the BJP of misleading voters with false claims of development in the Nalagarh constituency. Speaking at campaign rallies in support of Congress candidate Hardeep Singh Baba, Singh criticized the former independent MLA of the region for betraying public trust, leading to the current by-election.

Addressing gatherings in various areas, Singh called for Baba’s victory, holding the BJP responsible for the by-elections due to independent MLAs resigning prematurely and then contesting on BJP tickets, indicating potential wrongdoing.

Singh assured that the Congress government is stable and will complete its term, predicting a favorable outcome in the by-elections that would increase Congress’s strength in the assembly. He highlighted the fulfillment of five out of ten guarantees, including the implementation of OPS for employees and monthly stipends for women.

Former Minister Asha Kumari also urged voters not to repeat past mistakes and to support Baba, emphasizing the stability and strength of the Congress government.
