CM Sukhu Accuses BJP of Hindering Hamirpur’s Development
1 min readHamirpur, July 3:Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu alleged that former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur deliberately stalled development in Hamirpur to weaken Prem Kumar Dhumal. Addressing rallies in support of Congress candidate Dr. Pushpinder Verma, Sukhu claimed that Thakur’s actions harmed Hamirpur’s progress and that Dhumal was targeted by BJP conspirators.
Sukhu criticized former independent MLA Ashish Sharma for his arrogance and alleged vote-buying tactics. He urged voters to reject Sharma and support Verma, emphasizing Verma’s integrity and commitment to development. Sukhu also highlighted Congress’s achievements, including major infrastructure projects and 22,000 government job recruitments in 14 months.
The CM further condemned the previous administration for corruption and mishandling of recruitment processes, asserting that the current government is rectifying these issues.
