The Yellow Line parking of the Municipal Corporation is vacant, while hundreds of vehicles are parked on the roads. Many people complained about this to the MC administration. The Municipal Corporation wrote to the Police Department and asked them to take chalani action. People will have to pay Rs 11 thousand 328 for a year for using MC’s yellow line parking, to avoid which people are parking their vehicles on the roadside of their own free will.
The corporation has a parking facility for 1342 vehicles in the entire city. Still, only 450 people applied to use the parking. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashish Kohli says that the Municipal Corporation had to provide parking facilities on the lines of first come first serve, but very few applications came here. When the feedback was received from the field, it was found that people are parking their vehicles according to their convenience.
