Trilok Accuses Congress of False Intentions, Alleges Deception in Women’s Welfare
2 min readShimla: Trilok Jamwal, former Chief Minister of BJP and MLA, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, alleging them of being anti-women. He stated that the statements made by senior Congress leaders provide evidence of their anti-women stance, which is further confirmed by the statements of their Chief Minister and government. If their intentions were true, the Congress government would have initiated the payment of Rs 1500 per month to women as soon as they came into power. However, their intentions were not clear, and hence, when they came into power, their promise to start giving Rs 1500 to women in the first cabinet itself remained unfulfilled till date.
Trilok mentioned that once again, the Congress party’s thugs have set out to deceive every section of society in Himachal Pradesh. Various types of forms were being filled, which did not benefit anyone with even a rupee. During the assembly elections, these same leaders had filled out blue forms. Even after that, women did not receive Rs 1500 per month. To win the elections, this amount was paid by Congress leaders through Google Pay on their phones.
If Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukkhu’s intentions were clear, he would have included a provision in the budget session of Himachal Pradesh to give Rs 1500. But he did not even make a provision of one rupee, and as soon as the budget session ended, he announced that he would give Rs 1500 to every woman. However, this announcement is also strange as it lacks transparency about which women will receive Rs 1500 and who will not. If we analyze carefully, only those women who were already receiving a self-reliance amount will benefit from this announcement.
In a state where there are 22 lakh women and 27 lakh women voters, it is not appropriate to talk about only 5 lakh women. Therefore, we believe that the Congress party should stop making announcements and focus on their work.
