Tragic Fire Claims Life of 2-Year-Old Girl

In a devastating incident, a 2-year-old girl lost her life in a fire that engulfed a multi-story building in Saur Village, Himachal Pradesh. The incident also left the child’s parents severely injured.
The child had been rushed to the Nerchowk Referral Hospital from Kullu Hospital, where doctors, seeing the critical condition, referred her for pediatric care. However, despite the medical attention provided, the child tragically succumbed to her injuries in Chandigarh.
The harrowing incident occurred on September 19th when a fire broke out in a multi-story building in Saur Village. The child’s parents, who were also in the building at the time, suffered severe injuries. The family has been left in deep mourning and shock due to this tragic loss.
Mr. Khekh Ram Thakur, Chairman of the local Block Development Committee (BDC), expressed his condolences and mentioned that the family had already suffered the loss of their home in the fire. The fire was so intense that it caused structural damage to the building, including the roof collapsing.
The entire community is deeply saddened by this unfortunate incident, and the family is going through an immensely challenging time as they cope with the loss of their young child.
