Three-day Skill Development Workshop Organized at Bahra University
2 min readBahra University’s School of Management hosted a three-day skill development workshop for MBA, BBA, and B.Com students. Dr. R.M. Bhagat, the esteemed Director of Bahra University, provided expert guidance throughout the workshop. The objective of the workshop was to equip students with essential skills and provide insights from experts in various fields.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. R.M. Bhagat, Director of Bahra University. In the first session, Dr. Anita Gautam, Senior Medical Officer from District Ayurvedic Hospital, Solan, enlightened students about the importance of yoga. Students actively participated in pranayama and light exercises. Following this, Yoga instructor J.C. Kaushal from Solan demonstrated advanced yoga postures and highlighted their benefits. Later, Harshita Dev from the Training and Placement Department of Bahra University delivered a lecture on resume building and also organized psychometric games.
On the second day of the workshop, Dr. Triveni Sharma from S.C.E.R.T. Solan delivered a lecture on “Lifestyle and Mental Health in Management Work.” Subsequently, Anurag Awasthi, Director of Marketing and Admissions at Bahra University, gave a lecture on “Goal Setting for a Better Future.” The aim of these lectures was to promote critical thinking and awareness about mental health and stress management among students for career development.
The final day of the workshop featured a session by Dr. Ruchi Thakur from National Law University, Shimla, on “Personality Development and Communication Skills.” Following this, students from the School of Management showcased various engaging activities such as drama, advertising, singing, and dancing.
The Head of the School of Management, Prof. Sulochana Sayal, along with Dr. Rohit Sablayak, Dr. Anupam Sharma, Dr. Neeraj, Dr. Prerna Chandel, Dr. Ankita Thakur, Champa Sharma, Nishtha Maheshwari, and all students and researchers from the management department were present at the event. Dr. Sulochana Sayal congratulated everyone for the successful program.
