THDC India Limited Marks 75th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor and Public Participation

In a vibrant celebration of India’s 75th Republic Day, Sh. R.K. Vishnoi, Chairman & Managing Director of THDC India Limited, led the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag at THDCIL’s Corporate Headquarters in Rishikesh. The event, attended by Sh. J. Behera, Director (Finance), Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), Sh. Bhupender Gupta, Director (Technical), senior officers, employees, and their families, resonated with patriotism and gratitude for the constitution-makers, freedom fighters, and martyrs of India.
Sh. Vishnoi expressed his appreciation for the collective efforts and dedication of the THDCIL family in contributing to the company’s development and the progress of the nation. Emphasizing the pivotal role each employee plays in the power sector, he called for continued cooperation and contribution.
Addressing the gathering, Sh. Vishnoi highlighted that this year’s Republic Day celebrations align with the Government of India’s vision of ‘Jan Bhagidari’ (Public Participation). He stressed the importance of collective action in achieving the vision set forth by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, aiming for India to attain Super Power status by the 100th-anniversary celebrations in the year 2047.
The event featured a diverse array of cultural performances by school students, showcasing captivating cultural dances and impressive displays of horse riding skills. This patriotic fervor and enthusiasm were mirrored in Republic Day celebrations across all projects of THDCIL throughout the country.
