Solan, December 11, 2024: The two-year celebration of the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh turned into an event highlighting internal discord and factionalism, laying bare the growing divide between the party’s organization and its government.

BJP state spokesperson reacted to the incident in Bilaspur, stating that the behavior displayed on stage between Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Congress President Pratibha Singh was a clear indicator of Congress’ internal turmoil. He hinted at an impending “major explosion” within the party.

The BJP leader remarked, “Congress’ factionalism and mismanagement have reached a point where even their own party president is being disrespected on public platforms. This reflects a government that cannot tolerate its own leadership, let alone deliver governance.”

The spokesperson further criticized the government for allegedly protecting criminals, offering undue privileges to allies, and sidelining its organization in decision-making. He expressed gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri for highlighting key governance issues, including irregularities in HRTC, the “samosa scandal,” and misuse of funds during the celebratory event.

The BJP concluded by stating that Congress’ internal power struggle is affecting governance, signaling a government consumed by its own political conflicts rather than public welfare.
