Teachers’ Day celebrated at SILB with focus on values and student development

The Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB), Solan, celebrated Teachers’ Day with enthusiasm and warmth, honouring teachers’ contributions in shaping students’ lives, character, and future.
The celebration brought students and teachers together through fun-filled games and engaging activities organised by the students. The programme created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness and provided students an opportunity to express their appreciation for their teachers.
Addressing the gathering, President, SILB, Mrs Saroj Khosla, emphasised the importance of guiding students with patience and understanding. She said that students are the nation-builders of tomorrow and stressed that mistakes should be viewed as opportunities to guide them towards becoming better human beings.
Director, SILB, Mrs Shalini Sharma, highlighted education’s wider role in shaping young minds. She said that education is not limited to academic excellence but also involves nurturing compassionate, responsible and empathetic individuals.
The celebration highlighted the role of teachers beyond the classroom, where their guidance, encouragement and values helped students develop into confident and responsible individuals. The student-led activities further strengthened the bond between teachers and faculty members.
