Supreme Court Stays Himachal High Court’s Interim Order on Outsourced Recruitments
1 min readShimla, Feb 08 – The Supreme Court has put a stay on the interim order of the Himachal Pradesh High Court regarding outsourced recruitments, providing relief to the state government. Advocate General Anoop Ratna confirmed that the decision clears the way for continuing recruitments.
The case originated from a petition challenging the 2022 outsourced recruitments, leading the High Court to take suo-motu cognizance and halt ongoing hiring processes. The court questioned whether a phenyl manufacturing company could recruit nurses, raising concerns about transparency.
With the Supreme Court’s intervention, the state government can now proceed with outsourced recruitments until the next hearing, scheduled after four weeks. The decision is expected to impact recruitment policies and future employment opportunities in Himachal Pradesh.
