Sri Sri Janmastami Utsav to be Celebrated at Simla Kali Bari from August 16 to 18

Shimla, August 15: Simla Kali Bari will host the grand Sri Sri Janmastami Utsav from August 16 to 18, 2025, with a series of devotional events open to all devotees and their families.

The celebrations will begin on August 16 with Adhibas, Kirtan and Janmastami Ami Puj from 8:00 p.m. onwards. On August 17, the temple will resonate with Kirtan throughout the day starting at 6:30 a.m., followed by Nando-Utsab celebrations, Nagar Parikrama at 6:00 p.m., and concluding with Hari Looth/Dadhi Karma and Prasad distribution. The festivities will conclude on August 18 with a special Mahila Kirtan from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The event promises to be a spiritually uplifting experience, bringing together devotees in an atmosphere of devotion, music, and community harmony.
