Special Recruitment Drive for “Bima Sakhi” on February 16

Solan Feb 14 : A special recruitment drive for the Bima Sakhi scheme will be held on February 16, 2025, aimed at making rural women economically self-reliant. The initiative, part of the central government’s efforts, will select 4 Bima Sakhis from each of the Gram Panchayats in Solan District.

As part of the scheme, selected women will receive three years of stipend-based training to become insurance agents. Interested women, aged between 18 and 70 years, must have completed at least 10th grade and can apply by submitting the required documents at the LIC office in Solan on the recruitment day.
