Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania Inaugurates X-Ray Machine at Chuwari Civil Hospital

Chamba (Chuwari), March 11: Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania inaugurated a new X-ray machine worth ₹8.5 lakh at the Civil Hospital, Chuwari, during his visit to the health facility on Tuesday. He also inspected various wards and reviewed the medical services available at the hospital.

Pathania said the installation of the X-ray machine will greatly benefit residents of Chuwari and nearby areas, as patients will no longer need to travel to distant hospitals for diagnostic tests. He emphasized that the state government is working to strengthen healthcare facilities at local health institutions.

During the visit, the Speaker interacted with patients and their attendants to gather feedback about the hospital’s services and directed the administration to ensure timely and efficient medical care.

He also announced that a lift will soon be installed in the hospital to facilitate easier access for elderly and differently-abled patients. Pathania assured that vacant posts and other pending requirements of the hospital would be addressed.

On the occasion, Chief Medical Officer Chamba Dr. Jalam Bhardwaj honored the Speaker with a shawl and cap and briefed him about the hospital’s facilities and functioning.
