Social Media Influencers to Raise Awareness Against Drug Abuse in Shimla

Shimla, 30-12-2024: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anupam Kashyap held a special meeting with social media influencers from Shimla district to strategize a campaign against drug abuse. The influencers pledged their active participation in raising awareness through their platforms.

The DC emphasized the significant role of social media in educating the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse. He highlighted the administration’s efforts to curb drug-related activities and stressed the need to guide the youth toward constructive activities and career goals.

Additionally, the influencers were urged to promote government policies and welfare schemes to ensure they reach those in need. The meeting saw the participation of ADM Protocol Jyoti Rana, Shivani Thakur, Pawan Dragta, Gur Iqbal Singh, Sundhashu Garg, Lucky Garg, and Harvindra.
