SJVN awarded with the Anti- Bribery Management System Certificate

SJVN (Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam) was awarded the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) Certification by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on September 13, 2023. Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, the Chairman & Managing Director of SJVN, announced this achievement. The certification was presented to Sh. Prem Prakash (IOFS), the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of SJVN, by Sh. Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS), the Director General of BIS, during the National Seminar on ABMS held at NITS-Noida.
SJVN is recognized as the first Power Sector Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) to successfully implement the ABMS by following the ISO 37001:2016 Standard across 14 of its locations.
Pramod Kumar Tiwari (IAS), Director General of BIS, commended SJVN for its significant contributions to the field of Anti-Bribery Management System during the program. In addition to Ashish Tripathi (IRS), CVO of BIS, and CVOs from other PSUs, Salil Shamshery, Executive Director (IT&SE) of SJVN, Anil Kumar Goel, Deputy CVO of SJVN, and other senior officials were also present during the award ceremony.
The Anti-Bribery Management System is a comprehensive management system designed to assist organizations in preventing, detecting, and effectively responding to acts of bribery. This certification reflects SJVN’s commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and combating bribery in its operations.
