Digital Labour Cards to Be Issued Only After e-Shram Registration

Nahan (Sirmaur): The Office of the Labour Welfare Officer, Sirmaur, has urged all registered Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) in the district to complete their registration on the e-Shram portal at the earliest. The department has clarified that Digital Labour Cards will be issued only after workers are registered on the e-Shram portal.

Workers can complete the registration themselves through the e-Shram portal or visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or Lok Mitra Kendra for assistance.

After successful registration, workers must submit their e-Shram Card, ID number or Universal Account Number (UAN) to the Labour Welfare Office, Sirmaur (Old DRDA Building, near the DC Office, Nahan). The details can also be shared over the telephone at 01702-292032.

The department stated that once the e-Shram registration details are verified, Digital Labour Cards will be issued. These cards will serve as the primary means for workers to access various government welfare schemes in a transparent and efficient manner.

The Labour Welfare Office has appealed to all registered BOCW workers in Sirmaur to complete the e-Shram registration process without delay and submit their UAN details to facilitate the issuance of their Digital Labour Cards.
