Shops except essential items to remain closed on Sundays

Shimla, Nov. 21

In view of the large number of COVID-19 positive cases being reported daily in the district and the imminent need to take steps to mitigate the risk of disease as a preventive measure, all the shops/ markets in district Shimla except the shops or stores selling groceries, milk, bread, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and other uncooked food items, chemist shops, optical stores, restaurants/ dhabas/ hotels shall remain closed on Sunday.
