Shoolini University Researchers receive Rs 50 lakh grant for innovation

Faculty members at Shoolini University have been awarded a prestigious research grant of Rs 50 lakhs from iHUB DivyaSampark, Technology Innovation Hub—a joint initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and IIT Roorkee.
The grant, allocated to foster innovation and groundbreaking research, has been bestowed upon five exceptional research projects affiliated with iHUB Shoolini, expertly coordinated by Prof. Deepak Kumar, coordinator iHUB Shoolini and Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shoolini University. These five projects encompass a diverse spectrum of innovative domains poised to usher in transformative changes in their respective fields.
A rigorous selection process, which included evaluation by an eminent expert committee followed by detailed presentations, culminated in the selection of these cutting-edge interdisciplinary projects. The chosen projects reflect the brilliance and ingenuity of Shoolini University’s faculties.
The faculty members whose projects have been selected to receive this prestigious grant are Dr. Deepak Kumar Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Gaurav Gupta Associate Professor, Yogananda School of AI, Computers, and Data Sciences, Dr. Lokender Kumar – Assistant Professor, School of Biotechnology, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology.
These scholars will lead pioneering research in the realms of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), drone technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), and their transformative applications in agriculture and medical sciences. Their dedicated efforts and visionary approaches hold the potential to revolutionise these fields, bringing about positive changes that will resonate on both national and global scales. iHUB DivyaSampark is a pioneering Technology Innovation Hub established through a collaboration between the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. It is dedicated to fostering innovation and providing financial support to transformative research projects across various domains. The faculty members were congratulated by Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla, Pro-Chancellor Mr. Vishal Anand and Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla.
