Shoolini aces THE young university rankings-2024

Shoolini University achieved a remarkable accomplishment in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2024. The university has secured an impressive global position of 121, marking it as the top private university in India and the 5th overall in the country.
The THE Young University Rankings considers institutions which are less than 50 years old, to provide a unique insight into the emerging leaders of higher education. This year, the rankings include 673 universities, up from 605 in 2023, with an additional 499 institutions receiving “reporter” status for their significant contributions despite not meeting the formal eligibility criteria.
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, continues to lead the rankings for the second consecutive year. Among countries, Turkey has the highest number of ranked institutions at 58, followed by India with 55, and Iran with 46.
Shoolini University’s commendable score of 48.2 reflects its outstanding performance in several key areas, particularly Research Quality and International Outlook. However, there are areas identified for improvement, including Industry, Research Environment, and Teaching. By focusing on these parameters, Shoolini University aims to enhance its standing further and strive towards breaking into the top 100 universities globally.
Chancellor Prof. PK Khosla said, the 2024 ranking release brings immense pride and joy to the Shoolini university. The leadership, faculty, students, and staff of Shoolini University are all to be part of this success, He further said that I am thankful for their hard work and dedication that have made this success possible.
Pro Chancellor Vishal Anand said, as we celebrate this milestone, we are also reminded of the continuous journey towards improvement.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla said, the THE Young University Rankings “provide a vital platform for younger institutions like ours to showcase their strengths and potential. Our commendable score of 48.2, particularly in Research Quality and International Outlook, is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, students, and staff”, he added.
