Shocking Incident of Assault on Woman in Kangra

Kangra, April 20: A sensational incident has come to light from Kangra, the largest district in Himachal Pradesh. A youth assaulted a woman with a sharp object at the bus stand in Palampur. Upon seeing the delicate condition of the woman, she has been referred to the Medical College in Tanda. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately reached the scene and initiated further action. It is reported that the accused youth assaulted the woman 9 to 10 times with a sharp object.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman’s four fingers have been severed, and she has suffered serious head injuries. Meanwhile, the police have apprehended the accused youth. The youth is said to be a resident of Massal. The reason behind this heinous act by the youth has not yet been determined.

It is noteworthy that just the other day, under the jurisdiction of Bhawarna Police Station, a sensational situation arose in the area when the body of a 50-year-old woman from Ward 2 of Gram Panchayat Gadiyara, Tika Nalota, was found in critical condition late at night about one and a half kilometers away from her home. According to relatives, the woman was strangled to death, and evidence supporting the incident has been found at the scene of the crime.
