Shimla to Celebrate 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur

Shimla, October 24, 2025: The 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur will be celebrated on November 1-2 in Shimla with grand arrangements, said Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap. The event will be held at the historic Ridge Ground and Padamdev Complex.
Preparations include proper transport and accommodation for attendees, lighting of heritage buildings, stage setup with decoration, clean drinking water, uninterrupted electricity, and performances by Army, Police, and Home Guard bands.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi confirmed that traffic, security, and parking arrangements have been finalized. Officials from the Shimla Municipal Corporation and other departments are coordinating to ensure smooth conduct of the event.
