Shimla Summer Festival 2025 to Be Held from June 1 to 5: DC Shimla

Bollywood, Punjabi, and Local Artists to Perform; Events to Promote Social Themes

Shimla, May 29, 2025 – The vibrant *Shimla Summer Festival 2025* will be celebrated from June 1 to 5 at the historic Ridge and various venues across the city. The festival will feature performances by Bollywood singer Nidhi Rastogi, Punjabi singer Akhil, Indian Idol fame Neha Dixit and Kumar Sahil, along with regional artists like Honey Negi and Geeta Bhardwaj.

Each evening will have themed cultural nights including a Hasya Kavi Sammelan featuring renowned poets and a special Himachali Night. Artists from Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir will perform under the aegis of NZCC Patiala.

The festival is themed around *Drive Against Drugs* and *Beti Bachao Beti Padhao*. Activities include folk dance (Mahanati), a district-level table tennis championship, baby and flower shows, and inter-school competitions such as debates and essay writing.

The Ridge will be illuminated for the festivities, and various cultural bands will perform at the amphitheater and Police Reporting Room zone.
