Shimla District Congress Formation: Leaders Share Insights with Observer Rajeev Verma

Shimla, November 28 – Rajeev Verma, the observer appointed by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) for forming the Shimla District Congress Committee, held consultations at Rajiv Bhawan, the state Congress headquarters. Verma interacted with leaders from various constituencies, including Shimla Urban, Rural, and Kasumpti, to gather opinions on the district and block-level Congress formations.

Prominent attendees included Shimla Mayor Surender Chauhan, Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal, and all Congress councilors. Former MLAs Sohan Lal and Chiranjee Lal Kashyap, along with leaders like Anand Kaushal, Jitendra Chaudhary, Baldev Thakur, Rajesh Verma, and others, shared their perspectives. NSUI office-bearers also met Verma to discuss organizational matters.

Senior leaders such as Virendra Singh Jaswal, Inderjeet Singh, Anil Bakshi, and Ravi Rana were present during the meeting.
