Shimla Celebrates in Anticipation of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha
1 min readShimla, January 20: The upcoming consecration ceremony of Lord Rama’s temple in Ayodhya on January 22 is bringing joy across the nation. Various programs are being organized to celebrate the occasion. The capital city of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, has also become immersed in the spirit of Ram.
As part of the celebrations, a grand procession was organized from Kali Bari to Lower Bazaar in Shimla, culminating at the Ram Temple. The procession featured vibrant celebrations with the accompaniment of drums and traditional instruments, creating a festive atmosphere.
Rajeev Sood, the president of the Sud Sabha Shimla, expressed that after centuries, Shimla is adorned with the sacred occasion. A grand procession will be held from Kali Bari to the Ram Temple. Starting tomorrow, continuous prayers will take place in the temple. On the 22nd, the live broadcast of the Ayodhya program will be shown, followed by a fireworks display in the evening, reminiscent of Diwali celebrations.
