Shahpur War Memorial Nearing Completion, Says Kewal Singh Pathania

Shahpur, June 14: A review meeting regarding the construction of the Shahpur War Memorial was held at the Public Works Department Rest House in Shahpur under the chairmanship of Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with members of the Shahpur Sainik League on the progress of the memorial and other related matters.

Pathania said that the War Memorial, being constructed at an estimated cost of ₹40 lakh, is progressing steadily and necessary directions have been issued to the concerned department to ensure its early completion.

He stated that the memorial would stand as a symbol of respect and gratitude towards the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in service of the nation. He added that the memorial would inspire future generations with the values of patriotism, courage and selfless service.

Former servicemen present at the meeting also shared their suggestions regarding the memorial. Pathania assured them that their valuable inputs would be considered and incorporated wherever possible.
