Sanjeev Kumar Recommended For Gallantry Medal

The IPS Association, Himachal Pradesh Chapter, has honored Police Security Officer (PSO) Constable Sanjeev Kumar for his exceptional bravery in safeguarding lives during a critical incident. Acknowledging his dedication, the Association has provided ₹25,000 for his immediate treatment and recovery.

In recognition of his courageous service, the Himachal Pradesh Police has decided to recommend his name for the Police Medal for Gallantry (PMG), a prestigious national honor for extraordinary valor. His prompt actions not only prevented potential harm but also ensured public safety, demonstrating exemplary professionalism.

The recommendation will be formally submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for further consideration. The Himachal Pradesh Police remains committed to recognizing and honoring acts of gallantry within the force.
