Urge students to adopt their values and customs
Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Public Works, Health and Family Welfare and Information and Public Relations Department) Sanjay Awasthi said that the state government is spending Rs 8828 crore in the education sector in this financial year. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony organized at Government High School Kohu in Arki assembly constituency of Solan district today.
The Chief Parliamentary Secretary said that only through education the young generation can be prepared for every challenge. The state government is serious in this direction and positive changes are being made in the education sector from primary level to higher level. He said that while education will be provided through English medium in the state from the first class onwards, courses are being started at the professional level as per the demand of the present time. He said that youth have better opportunities for employment and self-employment in Artificial Intelligence and drone technology.
He said that the state government is also ensuring that the infrastructure at the school level is strong. Smart classes are being established in all the government schools of the state on a phased basis. All the youth will get its benefits. He said that the process to fill the vacant posts in schools is also going on on a phased basis.
Sanjay Awasthi said that youth become mature only through the harmony of education and values. He urged the students to embrace their values and customs and not be afraid to ask questions to their teachers. He said that research is also done in the form of questions to acquire knowledge.
On this occasion, he urged the youth to make their young friends aware of the ambitious Rs 680 crore Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Scheme which will provide a new direction to self-employment. He urged everyone to take advantage of the Solar Energy Scheme to become self-reliant through solar energy.
Sanjay Awasthi donated one lakh rupees for the construction of security wall in the playground of Government High School Kohu, Rs 03 lakh for the construction of additional two rooms in Government High School Kohu, one lakh rupees for the construction of additional one room in Government Primary School Kohu. Rs. and announced to provide Rs. 50 thousand for the construction of badminton court in the school.
On this occasion, the Chief Parliamentary Secretary honored the students who have excelled in various categories.
Colorful cultural programs were also presented by the school students on this occasion.
The Chief Parliamentary Secretary also announced to give Rs 2100 to the students presenting cultural programs and Rs 21 thousand to the organizing committee.
On this occasion, he listened to the problems of the people and instructed the officials to resolve them quickly.
