Rocket launcher landed in Ansoli village of Kangra – No Human causality

Kangra, Oct 29 – Panic gripped Ansoli village in the outskirts of Kangra temple town late this evening at 2035 hrs after a rocket launcher hit a slab of a house and then fell in the lane leaving the residents in a lurch
Ambika Devi pradan Ansoli village told UNI that the suspected Rocket Launcher fell on the slab of a house owned by Lucky Kumar with a big bang and then fell down in the lane, however, there was no human causality or injury to anyone.
Soon after a big bang with tremendous light the Rocket launcher fell on the slab of the residential house when the family members were having their dinner inside the house.
The rocket launcher fell down into the lane after hitting the slab leaving the villagers in panic.
She said that the residents rushed out of their houses in panic following the bang.
She said that the police were immediately informed about the incident.
Sub Divisional Police officer Dhiman told UNI that a Rocket launcher had fallen in the Ansoli village late this evening and police have rushed to the spot from Kangra and Gaggal police stations and are investigating the issue.
Police have informed the nearest Army unit to confirm the varsity of the Rocket launcher. The army was yet to reach the spot.
Police collected the shell of the Rocket launcher.
