Road Restoration Resumes After Monsoon

Shimla: Road metalling and restoration work has resumed in Shimla after the monsoon under the SJPNL 24×7 continuous pressurised water supply project.

SUEZ has started restoration work at Ambedkar Colony in Lower Dhalli Ward, where roads were affected by pipeline laying. Restoration of other affected roads across the city will follow in phases, with priority being given to key stretches.

SJPNL said the work had been delayed due to rains and will now progress as weather conditions improve. Residents have been requested to cooperate and exercise caution near work sites.
